What do you believe about yourself? August 18, 2015 – Posted in: Advice, Confidence – Tags: , , ,

When you believe you can’t do something you are likely to prove yourself right – because you probably won’t try or you’ll give up after the first attempt.

Similarly, if you believe you can do something you will also, probably, prove yourself right because you will keep going until you find a way…

Most of us are riddled with limiting beliefs – that voice that tells you,
“You can’t!”
“You always fail!”
“Why bother?”
“You don’t deserve success.”
“Life should be a struggle.”
“‘They’ will laugh at me…”

I lived with and believed a persistent voice like this for years. It held me back, dragged me down, made me live small, caused me to be afraid and resentful.

And then one day I woke up and realised that I had a choice! I began ditching the old, negative belief system of low self-esteem and started to listen to and believe a wiser, kinder, more loving voice inside of me. And slowly but surely my limiting beliefs melted away…

Having a choice over what thoughts you believe is the greatest of human freedoms and its yours for the taking every moment of every day.
